We’re moving the “church” out

Yes, we are literally moving the “church” out.

The “church” is not the building where people go to, it’s not the facility where religious activities are done…it’s not a place, but it’s the peopleGod’s people.

And the place where the people meet cannot hold us anymore.  We need to renovate & expand the facility.

Construction has started and Victory Alabang, starting this weekend, August 28-29, will be holding services at the Mini Trade Hall of Festival Mall. We are moving the people out.

Victory Alabang started 1998 with about 20 people. The services moved from place to place, resto to resto, until we settled at the basement of a building.  In 2003, we were 600 in attendance at that basement when we transferred the services to Festival Mall.  Today, we are about 6,000 in attendance already.  Our 650 seating capacity auditorium, holding 8 services per weekend, just cannot keep us with what God is doing.

The renovation will be completed by early October.  By then, we will have a 1,200 seating capacity, 7 rooms for kids, youth hall, pre-teens area, etc. Exciting! We’re believing God that it will be a state-of-the-art facility where His Word will be shared and preached effectively to people of all ages.

And this is all because of Him.  Yes, we do have  faithful and God-passionate Victory Group Leaders, volunteers, pastors and staff. But this is more than us.  This is God doing the work – our God wanting to reach as many of His people as possible. And we, the church, are God’s conduit.

His work continues.
